Having presided the Copenhagen Climate Conference in December 2009 Dane Connie Hedegaard certainly has a solid background in her proposed area of responsibility, Action against Climate Change. Some MEPs have expressed concerns over her track record - namely the failure of the Copenhagen Conference - but she promises ever more ambitious targets and looks forward to the next conference in Mexico at the end of 2010.
